The heart is a very amazing, crucial and important organ of
the body. It is necessary to point out here that, the HEART, beats about 3 billion
times during an average life time. It is located in the center of your chest slightly
to the left and its major function is to pump blood and also keep the blood
moving throughout your body.
You have a big responsibility therefore to keep your heart
healthy in order to maintain the flow of blood from one part of your body to
the other (blood circulation). And for you to truly achieve this, you need to
cultivate some habits and make them your lifestyle. So, what are these habit?

The need to exercise on a regular basis by
engaging your body in activities that keep your body moving in the area of
walking, jogging, running, biking, skating, jumping, swimming and so on and so
forth.

Above all, eat healthy. It is important to note
that, a diet based on fruits, oil-bearing nuts, whole grains, legumes and
vegetables prepared in a simple manner gives the best results for the
prevention of heart attack. As a result, it is very important to always include
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES to form the basis of a heart-healthy diet.
Fruits for Healthy Heart
Furthermore, for a heart-healthy diet, you must as a matter
of fact eat at least five portions of fresh fruit a day.
Avoid any kind of coffee and tobacco.
The need to reduce your level of sugar and salt intake
Eat a minimum of two or three portions of legumes a week
Eat whole grain bread
and pasta in place of white bread and pasta that is refined
Perform some physical exercises three times a week minimum
for at least 40 minutes
Eat at least one fresh vegetable salad a day that is
prepared with seed oil or olive oil.
